Phase 00

Pre-work

Your team

For some projects you will need to complete a short intake covering your product, your market, your competitors, and the customers you already have. Send us anything that helps us understand the business.

Phase 01

Planning

Kick-off workshop

We agree who the business is for, the problem you solve, and the single message everything is built around.

Direction review

We present the strategic options and the core story. You confirm the one we build on.

Sign-off

You approve the written direction. This becomes the brief for everything that follows.

Phase 02

The work begins

Work begins

We produce the assets to the agreed direction and one standard, whether that is a brand, a website, a podcast, or a content system.

Progress review

We present the work in progress. You give feedback in the session.

Iterations

Iterations to the designs, processes and workflows can be implemented to ensure a smooth partnership.

Phase 03

Reviews & Handover

Review

We walk you through everything and make any final edits. For on-going work these will be regular meetings.

Handover

At the end of the project or contract, we hand over the finished work and everything we have built.

FAQs.

Who owns the work once it is finished?

You do. Every asset we produce is yours outright on final payment: the brand files, the website, the source files, and the working documents behind them. We do not license work back to you or hold anything hostage. We may ask to show finished work in our portfolio, and you can decline.

What are typical timelines?

The foundation engagement, covering strategy, brand, and website, usually runs three to four weeks from kick-off. A brand kit on its own is faster. A podcast or a content system is set up over a few weeks and then runs continuously. You get a specific timeline in your written scope before any work begins, and we hold to it.

Why are the prices listed as "from"?

Because scope varies, and charging one flat figure for jobs of different sizes would mean overcharging some clients and underdelivering to others. A brand kit for a two-person start-up and a rebrand across a forty-person company are different pieces of work. You receive a fixed price in writing before anything starts, and it does not move unless you change the scope.

What would change the cost after we start?

Only a change you ask for. If you add a service, expand the number of pages, or widen the brief partway through, we agree the new price with you before we act on it. You will never receive a surprise invoice. If the work turns out to be simpler than expected, that works in your favour.

How many rounds of revisions are included?

Each stage includes a review point with a round of feedback built in, handled live in the session so nothing gets lost in email. Most work is settled within those rounds. If you want changes beyond them, we tell you the cost before we start, so you are always the one deciding.

What do you need from us, and how much of our time will it take?

An honest intake at the start, prompt feedback at each review point, and one person on your side who can make decisions. Beyond the scheduled sessions, the demand on your time is light. The point of hiring us is to take the work off your plate, not add to it.

What happens if we are not happy with the work?

The staged reviews exist so that never becomes a late surprise. You see and approve the direction before we build on it, which means problems get caught early while they are cheap to fix. If something is not right, we put it right within the agreed scope.

Do we work with Matt or with a team?

Both. Matt leads the thinking on every engagement and is your point of contact. The studio handles production. You get one relationship and one standard of work.

Can we start with one service and add more later?

Yes. The stages are a recommended order, not a bundle. Many clients begin with a single asset, most often the website or the podcast, and add others once they have seen how we work.

What happens after the work is delivered?

You own everything and can run it yourself, which many clients do. If you would rather we kept going, the ongoing services, social content, podcasts, and AI workflow support, are there for exactly that. There is no lock-in either way.
